What will it cost?

Lockouts and Jump Starts: Start at $40. If diagnostics or disassembly is required, it will be treated as a service call fee.

 

Service Calls and Repairs are billed at $80 per hour based on 'book time' (official estimates of how long a repair should take). A minimum of $60 is applied to each service call.

*For vehicles over 10 years old or with heavy rust, book time may be increased.

Mileage Fees: I only provide services to locations in Clinton County, Iowa. If you are located outside of the city limits of Clinton, Iowa, a fee of $1.00 per mile and a $80 minimum will be applied to your bill.

Diagnostics will start at the cost of a service call.  They will be billed hourly UNTIL they hit the maximum charge based on difficulty. Once diagnostics are complete, you will receive a quote for parts and labor to repair the problem.

Before Booking:

As a mobile mechanic, I come to you. That means there are some location requirements:

 - Other than Jump-starts, flat tires and very basic service calls, the car will need to be located on private property where you have obtained permission for the work to be performed. I do not do repairs or diagnostics in the street.

​

 - I do not provide 24-hour roadside assistance. If you need immediate assistance, you are welcome to call me to check on availability. I also recommend Downtown Auto Clinic for Roadside Assistance.
